2010 NFL Predictions Week 7
The 2010 NFL season continues to truck along without a clear dominant team. Instead NFL fans are being treated to a rollercoaster season where a team’s dominance changes almost every week. This is resulting in competitive division races and even more disparity among NFL predictions. Here are the predictions for Week 7 of the 2010 NFL season.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Kansas City Chiefs
This AFC matchup features a Chief team coming off a hard loss to the Houston Texans while the Jaguars continue to baffle the NFL experts on their roller coaster season. While the Chiefs are happy they found their offensive rhythm, they have to be concern by how porous their defense was. Things will change this week as they fluster the Jaguars offensive scheme and quarterback David Garrad. The Chiefs earn a hard fought win over the Jaguars.
Prediction Chiefs 27 Jaguars 20
Pittsburgh Steelers at Miami Dolphins
Teams in the AFC were placed on warning last week when Ben Roethlisberger returned to the field after serving his four game suspension. He should no signs of the layoff as he decimated the Browns defense and tossed three touchdown passes. The Dolphins needed overtime to take care of the Green Bay Packers and remain in the hunt for the 2010 NFL playoffs. The Dolphins’ defense is capable of slowing down the Steelers’ offense but they need a big day from second year quarterback Chad Henne if they want to earn a home win.
Prediction cheap nhl jerseys Steelers 27 Dolphins 20
Cincinnati Bengals at Atlanta Falcons
The Bengals will be fresh off a bye week and ready to take on a Falcon that will come in limping after a sound defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles. The Bengals will be looking to keep the momentum in their passing game with the re emergence of wide receiver Terrell Owens. The Falcons defense will step up and show last week was a fluke.
Prediction Falcons 21 Bengals 17
Washington Redskins at Chicago Bears
From one explosive offense to another, the Redskins will travel to play the Bears and their quarterback Jay Cutler. The Redskins are still working on finding a quarterback receiver relationship that will help open up the running game. The problem with the Mike Martz system has reared it’s ugly head. While his quarterbacks are capable of putting up god like number, they also take more hits than most. They will be lucky if Cutler is able to make it to the end of the game in one piece. Despite this, they should win a close one.
Prediction Bears 24 Redskins 21
Cleveland Browns at New Orleans Saints
Even though the Browns never had a chance against the Steelers last week, they continued to fight and you saw glimmers of rookie quarterback Colt McCoy’s potential. NFL fans also saw a Saints team that was finally firing on all cylinders on both sides of the ball. The Saints will glad welcome a Browns team that has been having a hard time stopping anyone from having a career day passing. The Browns will learn why Drew Brees is still one of the best quarterbacks in the game.
Prediction Saints 31 Browns 17
Buffalo Bills at Baltimore Ravens
The Bills will have had a chance to rest up and prepare for a Ravens team that is going to be eager and move forward from their overtime loss to the New England Patriots. The Ravens had some troubles running the ball and will be ready to go against the Bills’ defense which is ranked dead last in the NFL with 182.4 yards per game. The Ravens should have no problem against this AFC East for and earn their fifth win of the season.
Prediction Ravens 27 Bills 10
St. Louis Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Rams bounced back nicely and earned a win over the hapless San Diego Chargers. They will need their defense to step up again this week when they take on a Buccaneers team still smarting from the beat down the Saints gave them. The underrated Rams defense should do a decent job of containing the Buccaneers emerging offense. The Rams’ Steven Jackson should break 100 rushing yards for the third week in a row.
Prediction Rams 17 Buccaneers 10
Philadelphia Eagles at Tennessee Titans
The Eagles offense appears to be just fine under quarterback Kevin Kolb as they exploded for 31 points against a solid Atlanta Falcons defense. The Titans will be working with a short work week and will need running back Chris Johnson to find holes in the stingy front seven of the Eagles defense. This game will feature some hard hits but NFL fans will be treated to a few explosive plays that will be the difference in the game.
Prediction Eagles 27 Titans 20
San Francisco 49ers at Carolina Panthers
The 49ers are still searching for their offensive groove and will welcome the road trip to Carolina to take on the Panthers who are struggling on both sides of the ball. This snoozer of a game is going to feature two quarterbacks who are experiencing growing pains in the NFL. The team who establishes the running game first will find a way to come away with the low scoring win.
